Reviews and Ratings
The hotel location is fabulous, with easy access to transportation and souks. The rooms were basic but clean and quite comfortable. The service was hit or miss, with some staff being friendly and attentive, while others lacked in helpfulness. The dining options were varied but slightly overpriced. The facilities were average with no standout features.
I found the hotel's traditional style rooms with modern facilities to be very spacious and beautifully furnished, immersing me in Arabian culture. However, there was a noticeable old smell in the rooms. The service was generally friendly, although the check-in process suffered due to understaffing. The location was ideal for exploring old Dubai, being close to the Abra station and the Dubai Museum. The dining experience was mixed, with limited breakfast options but high-quality products. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel offers a separate sitting room and bathroom; however, noisy neighbors and strong odors were a significant issue throughout the stay, impacting relaxation and comfort.
I was drawn to the beautiful traditional style of the hotel with modern facilities. The rooms, although rather limited in view and had a musty smell, provided a cozy stay. The service was impeccable, making our holiday truly wonderful. The location was ideal for exploring the 'old' Dubai with its proximity to souks. The dining experience, while good, felt a bit expensive. Overall, a charming stay with a mix of highs and lows.
The hotel is conveniently located right opposite the Dubai Museum, allowing easy access to the old Creek area and various attractions. However, the rooms had a strange smell and some insects, which unfortunately affected our stay. The service was exceptional with staff going out of their way to assist, but the dining experience fell short of expectations. Overall, the hotel offers a great central location but needs improvements in room quality.
I found the hotel to be a mixed experience. The room had some limitations with heating and was not ready upon check-in, but it offered nice amenities like a mini-bar, kettle, bath, and a comfortable King-sized bed. The hotel felt rather limited in certain areas, but it provided a cozy space for relaxation.
The hotel had a musty smell in the room, but I managed with earplugs and hair clips for the curtains. The space was big, but an extra luggage bench would have been helpful. The staff were friendly overall, but some seemed cold. The location was excellent near Dubai Creek and the heritage village. The dining was tasty, and the facilities were satisfactory.
I found the hotel to be like a deluxe version of others, although our room wasn't ready until midnight due to a faulty air-conditioning unit. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the service, especially from Jimmy at the lobby cafe and others, was truly amazing. The location, although a bit hard to find, was great as it was opposite the Dubai Museum and close to many attractions. However, the dining experience was disappointing with limited options. Price-wise, it offered value for money considering the facilities.
My stay at the hotel was a lovely experience overall. The spacious rooms provided access to the lounge and offered a good breakfast selection. While the rooms were comfortable, they could benefit from some updates and maintenance.
The hotel has its ups and downs. The room size was adequate for two people, but we had a disappointing experience with a faulty air-conditioning unit in the middle of our stay. On the bright side, the location is superb, right by the museum and the older part of Dubai.
